Today my duty is..........

To rest on the Lord's Day
took grand-daughter to Mass.........
She wanted to see Jesus :)
everyone is standing Maw-maw,I can't see :)

I must attend to some work......

It is hot
praying for those without relief from the heat.............

Someday's I feel the need to offer up prayers for the WHOLE WORLD !

I know that somehow prayer is infinite
so God can choose to take one prayer and use it to help the whole world.
If anyone reads this......
you have been prayed for today.

Will take rest in Him .

Today I planned............

to attend Mass at 6pm with younger children who are with their father
this morning.
Ahhh but God planned that I should attend Mass @ 11am with married
children to help wrestle a very active 15 month old grand-daughter.

Canary is singing..........
fan is quietly humming in the background....
blankets on the clothesline......

Our Lady of Fatima said we are to offer up the sacrifice of our daily duty.
And for me ,each day, I must discern through prayer and the teachings of the Church what my duty is on this day.

Sometimes the phone rings...and my duty is easy...go to Mass twice today.
Help the young married ones........
What joy...it brings tears to my eyes.......
Other days...not so easy.......
but for today ...it seems clear...........
Rest in Me.
